Nancy Nelson is a new agent in Real Estate but her personal experience in both buying and selling personal homes and investment properties combined with her experience with customer service in her previous career, prepare her well to be an outstanding agent.

“I’ve seen first-hand, after buying and selling both personal and investment properties, how important an agent is in the process. The confidence and competence of a good agent is worth their weight in gold” she says. “Real estate investments allow the average person to build wealth and create a legacy. Owning real estate in any capacity can be an incredible asset that almost everyone has access to. Sometimes the key is just having a supportive team to help one know the options and help in making a wise decision.”

“Since I started working at 16, I’ve been in customer service. Good customer service has become a passion of mine”, she notes. Nancy moved to Murray from Denver and in the six years prior to that move, she worked as a Director of Community Connection in a ministry. “My husband and I often joked that I was a glorified friend maker but my time in ministry trained me to lister and care well for the people I served,” she adds. Nancy feels this passion to serve and a desire to help others pursue their dreams in real estate go together. “Buying or selling a property carries a lot of different emotions and everyone needs a Realtor who not only gets the job done but can be a friend in the process. I’m looking forward to building those relationships.”

Nancy moved to Murray with her husband, Phillip, and two children. Phillip is the Women’s Golf Coach at Murray State University. She enjoys traveling with the MSU Women’s Golf Team when she can and supporting all things MSU. Nancy also has a love for interior design and has worked in two design stores since moving to Murray. “I love to pursue beauty and design, whether it’s a walk in the wilderness or spending hours in a fabric store,” she notes. “Spending time with people and learning their stories is another favorite pastime.”
