Growing up as the daughter of a home builder, Kelsey developed an interest in and an innate understanding of the Murray real estate market long before becoming a Realtor. Combining that understanding with a degree from Murray State in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration gave Kelsey a solid foundation in guiding her clients through the ins and outs of the serious business of buying and selling homes. Her clients seem to agree. “She is very personable, timely and knowledgeable in the market,” said one. “While her professionalism and knowledge of real estate is second to none, it was the way she cared about my needs through the entire process and responsive to any questions….She made the whole process seamless,” said another client.
Kelsey says ,“There is nothing better than helping clients find their perfect home in our amazing community. Seeing their smiles when we close on their home is a great feeling!” Kelsey certainly does her part in making our community better. One of her many duties at Murray State is teaching real estate courses and helping students and future Realtors understand and master the basics of real estate practices. She also serves on the Young Professionals of Murray Leadership Team and the Murray State Young Alumni Council; both groups are actively involved in developing leadership skills and a vision for the future. In her downtime, Kelsey enjoys time with family and friends, walking her dog at the MSU Arboretum, cooking, and reading, and watching MSU athletics and U.S. Soccer.
“I gained knowledge of construction growing up and watching my father’s successful home construction business,” Kelsey said. She brought this full circle when she sold some of her Dad’s homes to the perfect new owners. “These sales were some of my favorite memories because it combined helping both my clients and my Dad.” To complement her real estate expertise and construction knowledge, Kelsey also brings work experience at Ag Connections/Syngenta in sales, customer service and marketing to the table when helping her buyers and sellers achieve their goals.
“As someone born and raised in Calloway County, I love our community. Helping someone find their perfect home or helping a seller find a buyer is my favorite part of being in the real estate world. I am passionate about Murray and want to make sure all buyers or sellers are as happy living in our friendly town as I have been throughout my life.”
Kelsey is a Recruitment Coordinator and Real Estate Instructor at Murray State, serving in these roles since 2018. Her husband, Kyle, is the Director of Development in the Bauenfiend College of Business and Corporate Giving.
